the true self

How do you know you are being true to yourself? I have asked that same question to the master myself, and all I’ve got was a smile.

Accordingly, due to several interferences and pressures amongst the social world people tend to shrink into a social clone perfect to camouflage in every situations. He is the master of pleasantries, the best among liars, and the lost among souls. Everyday he is enduring the undefeatable battle of self against self, nature against nurture, inner peace against super-facial glamor. Everyday he is tired and yet he would rise up just to get tired again.

Why is that? If life is meant to be the most beautiful gift one would ever have, why is it so harsh towards a person. They say, its because we are fighting against our own nature. Least, we are challenging our own life's flow. Blinded by naivety, knot-tied by moralities, and murdered by himself – the soul has lost control and he will never be cured unless he gets to accept his real and true self.

How do we know we are being true to ourselves? All we've got is a smile.
